Sophie Taeuber-Arp at Tate Modern

Artist, dancer, writer and designer, Sophie Taeuber-Arp is one of the most prolific artists to emerge from the Zurich Dada. Exploring materials and subject-matter fusing art and the everyday, Taeuber-Arp’s work is one of the most varied responses to the horrors of the First World War.

Featuring over 200 objects from collections across Europe and America, this exhibition will feature the artist’s famous ‘Dada Heads’ and marionettes amongst paintings, costume designs and tapestries, demonstrating the artist’s status as a trailblazer in abstraction.

See Sophie Taeuber-Arp at Tate Modern from July 15th – October 17th 2021
