Somerset House Studios 10th Anniversary Programme

Somerset House Studios celebrates a decade of boundary-pushing creativity this autumn with a programme that feels like a sci-fi fever dream in East London.

Resident artist Jenkin van Zyl premieres Enclosure, an immersive installation of holograms, inflatable cocoons and dystopian fantasy inside Somerset House’s Lancaster Rooms, before heading east for 3 Evenings, a rotating programme of live art and experimental music at Wapping’s former hydraulic power station.

The project also launches 3ETV, an international broadcast with New York’s Pioneer Works and Basel’s House of Electronic Arts, extending 3 Evenings for two months through multi-channel streaming and broadcast interventions.

Enclosure runs 24 September–29 November (free / pay what you can) at Somerset House, Strand, WC2R 1LA, and 3 Evenings runs 16–18 October at 25 Wapping Wall, Wapping, E1W 3SF. Tickets: www.somersethouse.org.uk.
