Loanhood Hackney Clothes Swap
LOANHOOD is hosting a community-driven clothes swap where customers are encouraged to bring up to five items of clean clothing in exchange for tokens for new garms.
Items are assessed by Swap Shop Assistants based on their brand, RRP, and condition before they are traded for tokens and displayed on the rails.
Supported by Hackney Council, the swap provides an opportunity to prevent still-wearable items from contributing to the 350,000 tonnes of clothing which end up in UK landfill every year.
The event will take place on Saturday 19th October, when doors will open to drop items from 11:30am – 3:30pm and the swap will run from 12:00 – 4:00pm

Please bring no more than 5 items of clothing, accessories and/or footwear freshly cleaned * and ready to go on the racks. We accept all shapes and sizes including children’s clothing.
We offer a token system for customers who bring no more than 5 items. Items will be categorised into relevant tiers (1 token under £50, 2 tokens over £50) based on the type, brand, RRP and condition.
