Hackney Showroom Young Artists
Young artists are encouraged to apply for Hackney Showroom’s free 10-month programme which provides acting training to 18 to 25-year-olds from low-income backgrounds pursuing careers in theatre.
Led by Sam Curtis Lindsay, the programme covers classical acting training and performance skills, as well as funded theatre trips and tailored careers advice.
Sessions will take place in Hackney Showroom, a grassroots civic arts venue, and will help tackle barriers to access in theatre.
The deadline for applications is 5pm on Thursday 26th September, and in-person auditions will be held on 4th and 5th October at Hackney Showroom.
