King and Queen to visit Brick Lane
King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla are heading to East London this Wednesday February 8th from 11am where they will call on the community leaders of Brick Lane.
The royal visit is hosted by the British Bangladeshi Power and Inspiration (BBPI), an annual publication which lists the 100 leading British Bangladeshi figures.
They will meet the local people behind the vibrant businesses in the area before visiting the Brick Lane Mosque to gain insight into the history behind the building.
It is not known if they will try a tasty doughnut from Crosstown or snack on a delicious platter from Beigel Bake – but their visit is sure to bring excitement to the air as locals pop down to catch a glimpse of royalty.
