Hoxton Live

It’s the first Hoxton Live of Spring and The Preshaah knows just how to celebrate. Our studio was full of chocolate, new tunes and special guests including Number 90 bar, Hoxton Hall and Open Space Forum. Oh, and and a cheeky appearance from your favourite Hoxton girls Molly and Jenifer, of course.

First on, Bruno from Number 90 bar invite us to join them to celebrate their 5th birthday! They will be holding a 3 day festival to celebrate 5 years of food, drink, music and art from April 5-7th. Next, Hoxton Hall are in the studio to big up their first Sound Out show of 2019. Sound Out will be featuring live music from 12 young performers including Aaron Anderson who’s single ‘More Than Friends’ was featured on today’s show. The live event takes place on 29th March. Last but not least, Amartey Golding tells us about his ‘Chainmail film series’ which explores identity politics around race, gender and class. The film will be showcased at Open Space Forum: Of Hosts & Guests. This will be followed by a live crit of his work led by his friends and family. Open Space is a three day event from 28-30th March comprising artist performances, film screenings, talks and workshops. More info here.
