Transport yourself to the Caribbean this October with the Barbican’s Visions of Haiti exploring 70 years of Haitian cinema.

From a 1930s travelogue to the work of contemporary, breakthrough directors, viewers will be taken on a journey through the history of the industry.

The line up includes famed documentary, The Way to Freedom, and many other films which tackle themes such as the legacy of colonialism, indigenous Vodou culture, and diaspora identity
