Tendril Kitchen

Discover the diversity of plants at Tendril Kitchen, East London’s mostly vegan joint showing everyone how it’s meant to be done. Tendril describes their ethos as ‘plant-first’, emphasising the simple fact that plants are the main event of all their dishes – nothing fake or overprocessed, just good old veg.

Whether you’re a vegan foodie or staunch omnivore, Tendril aims to satisfy all cravings. Each month the team brings out an enticing discovery menu, showcasing seasonal and locally sourced produce.

King of the kitchen at Tendril is Rishim Sachdeva, formerly of Chiltern Firehouse and The Fat Duck. No stranger to a carnivorous lifestyle, Rishim partook in Veganuary a few years ago and uncovered the potential for vegetables to be the star of the show, cue the start of Tendril Kitchen.

Tendril offers a small plates style of eating, with innovative dishes including a crispy celeriac terrine, ‘Chinatown’ purple potatoes, tostadas and baked brie.

Currently in residency at The Artillery Arms, 102 Bunhill Road, London, EC1Y 8ND, head down to try out their May menu.
