Women in Revolt Exhibition – Tate Britain
Tate Britain will present a landmark exhibition of feminist art this autumn, showcasing ideas and rebellious methods from women in the UK between 1970 and 1990.
Women in Revolt! will explore over 100 artists who worked through extreme social, economic and political change, including photography group The Hackney Flashers.
Discover banners, posters, and journals from the Greenham Common and Section 28 protests, along with paintings, sculptures and film from women who changed the face of British culture.
