Vanessa Bell & Duncan Grant: Inside Bloomsbury at Tate Modern

The boundaries between art and everyday life will blur this November at Tate Britain as the gallery brings together furniture, ceramics and textiles with the modernist designs of Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant, celebrating the pair’s five-decade partnership.

Bell and Grant are often considered some of the most influential artists of the 20th century, joining the Bloomsbury Group in their reshaping of art and societal thought in Britain.

The exhibition is will feature over 300 works displaying the pair’s relationship, from the early days of their careers to their later works. It will also feature a re-staging of their original studio in East Sussex.

Vanessa Bell & Duncan Grant: Inside Bloomsbury will open at Tate Modern on November 12, and remain open until April 11, 2027.
