The Theatre Show x Dance Umbrella x What it Means

The Theatre Show with Alissa Finn covering theatre, arts, classical music and poetry featured Freddie Opoku-Addaie, CEO and Artistic Director of Dance Umbrella and James Corley, writer of the new play, What it Means, premiering at Wilton’s Music Hall this October.

Freddie Opoku-Addaie spoke about Dance Umbrella, London’s annual International Dance Festival celebrating it’s 45th year! This hybrid season of live and virtual performances kicks off the 6th of October running till the 31st. Inviting everyone to explore creativity through movement!

Writer, James Corley spoke about his piece, What It Means, an adaptation of Merle Millers essay, What It Means to Be A Homosexual, which became a defining part of the LGBTQI+ movement, published in the New York Times in 1971. This is the first show for the newly founded Production Company, Lot Productions starring Richard Cant directed by Harry Mackrill. What It Means will be playing at Wilton’s Music Hall from the 4th of October – 28th. This is a production you do NOT want to miss!
