The Theatre Show – All Things Babies

The Theatre Show with Alissa Finn covering theatre, arts, classical music and the poetry scene in London featured, actor, theatre maker, Phoebe Ladenburg, producers, James Lane and Ed McGovern, and Drag star, Stephen Cheriton. The theme of todays show is babies!!!

Phoebe Ladenburg multi-award-winning actor, director and theatre maker, spoke about co-creator, Sophie Swithinbank’s one woman show, Surrender, which explores the relationship between parents incarcerated, their children and questions the system of social care. Playing at the Arcola Theatre from the 19th of June till the 13th of July.

James Lane and Ed McGovern are the producers for Babies, the new British coming of age musical running at the Other Palace till the 14th of July. Tune in to learn more about the premise that follows nine classmates as they take on a school project following a rise in pregnancies in the year above to keep a fake baby alive for a week.

Stephen Cheriton actor and drag star, Orla Nothin, is currently starring as Dan in the production of Drag Baby playing at the Pleasance Theatre till the 22nd of June. A compelling blend of drag performance and theatre that gives unforeseen perspectives surrounding life changing decisions.
