The London Open at Whitechapel Gallery

The London Open takes place at Whitechapel Gallery this summer, showcasing an exciting range of art including paintings, installations, moving image, performance & sculpture.

A panel of experts reviewed 2,600 submissions of work, selecting 48 of the most dynamic artists in London, whose work tackles a range of topics including the personal, the environmental and the political.

The exhibition was carefully curated by Emily Butler, Ines Costa & Wells Fray-Smith and artists include documentary filmmaker Chloe Abrahams, surrealist painter Alicia McNamara and installation artist Maria Roy.

The London Open runs from 30th June – 4th September at Whitechapel Gallery which is open 11am – 6pm Tuesday – Sunday.
