This week brought us Apple’s huge Spring Loaded event unveiling its newest iPad Pro tablets, a re-designed iMac, a purple iPhone 12, the long-rumoured AirTag item trackers and loads more! Plus we discuss new Microsoft Teams features which let you send praise to your colleagues or try out a ‘virtual commute’, a recent study which found that music recommendation algorithms show gender bias, MI5 warning government workers of spies using LinkedIn to steal company secrets and Netflix seeing a slowdown in new subscriptions following a year of delayed productions. Also on the agenda is Polaroid’s latest analog instant camera which is its smallest yet at a tiny 2.4 inches tall, and the Bowers & Wilkins PI7 wireless earbuds – described as offering a ‘rich, deep, chocolate ganache of sound’ – mmmmmm.
