SUMMER EXHIBITION X ROYAL ACADEMY OF ARTS
The world’s largest open submission art show, the Summer Exhibition opens it’s revered doors for the 251st year at Royal Academy of Arts this June.
Showcasing this year’s most influential and striking works-of-art, the display will boast over 1,200 paintings, films, prints, sculptures, architectural works and many more modern spectacles.
Accomplished British contemporary painter Jock McFadyen will curate the exhibition with help from the provocative Tracey Emin, the conceptual Jeremy Deller and artist sisters Jane and Louise Wilson amongst others.
Highlights will include an animal-themed ‘menagerie’ in the Central Hall and a colourful installation of flags on Bond Street featuring work by Michael Craig-Martin.
