State Fayre Festival

For a fresh taste of Americana in the UK, head to Chelmsford this June for the brand-new State Fayre festival, a 3-day event that promises to combine the best musicians and BBQ pit masters as well as American-style festival rides and activities.

The line-up is a who’s who of the biggest names in rock, country, and folk music. Headlining are The Kings Of Leon, Alanis Morissette, and The Lumineers, bringing the throwback alternative rock vibes. Also on the bill are Elvis Costello, Counting Crows, and more.

The FUME Pit features more than 15 BBQ stands, as well as eating competitions and live cooking displays, including the UK’s largest live-fire cooking show featuring grills delivered from as far away as Brazil and the United States.

State Fayre’s running from 26 to 28 June in Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex.
