Spring Season at Whitechapel Gallery
Two fresh new exhibitions are arriving at Whitechapel Gallery this Spring- Zineb Sedira’s ‘Dreams Have No Titles’ and Andrew Pierre Hart’s Bio-Data Flows and Other Rhythms – A Local Story.
Immerse yourself in Zineb Sedira’s exhibition where reality blurs with fiction, dance, cinema and music. The gallery space is transformed into mesmerizing 1960s and 70s film sets from activist cinema made across Algeria, Italy and France.
The collective experience blends with the artist’s personal one. From the iconic ballroom of ‘Le Bal’ to Sedira’s Brixton living room, the viewer is immersed into the artist’s world where the struggles for Algerian Independence and conflicted identities intertwine with hope, dance, discussion and wine.
Dive into Whitechapel’s rich cultural landscape with a captivating exhibition by London-based electronic music producer and interdisciplinary artist, Andrew Pierre Hart.
Embark on a sensory journey that encapsulates Whitechapel’s diverse inhabitants, migrant and diasporic histories while exploring the relationship between sound, painting and dance.
Tickets go from £12.50 here for Sedira’s exhibition and entry is free for Hart’s exhibition.
Multidisciplinary and immersive exhibitions by Zineb Sedira and Andrew Pierre Hart running from the 15th of February to the 12th of May for Sedira’s exhibition and from the 15th of February to the 7th of July for Hart’s at Whitechapel Gallery.
