Silents Synced: R.E.M. x Sherlock Jr.

Brand-new cinema experience Silents Synced is launching across the UK from early 2026, pairing iconic silent films with classic alternative rock albums.

After a successful debut, Silents Synced returns, this time matching Buster Keaton’s 1924 classic Sherlock Jr. with R.E.M.’s Monster and New Adventures in Hi-Fi.

The film’s inventive stunts and narrative are reimagined through R.E.M.’s expansive alt-rock sound, creating a bold new way to experience both cinema and music.

Silents Synced will launch on February 5th 2026 at Genesis cinema, tickets are on sale now via cinemalive.com.
