Shakespeare’s Globe this March

Shakespeare’s Globe is bringing you outstanding performances of Hamlet and The Merchant of Venice starting this month and running ’til 9th April.

These two classics will be performed for the first time in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse part of the Globe, and the intimate performances will be warmly lit by candles.

2022 marks the 16th year of ‘Playing Shakespeare with Deutche Bank’, a project between the theatre and the bank’s Youth Engagement Programme. From 19th March until 16th April they will be performing a gripping 90 minute production of Macbeth that is created specifically for young people but is the perfect introduction to Shakespeare for all ages.

So step inside the Globe and be transported into a fantastic world of Kings, Queens and supernatural beings and watch stories of love, murder and vengeance unfold from the very theatre for which Shakespeare wrote his plays.
