Royal Docks Summer Splash

With the cable cars overhead and the sounds of the city surrounding you, go for a dip in a free pool at the Royal Docks as Summer Splash 2026 takes over.

Whether you’re looking to cool off or soak up the sun, the festivities are open to everyone. Plus, a full schedule of children’s activities mean fun for the whole family.

Since 2019, the event has run as a way to provide people across London with a safe place to enjoy the water during the hottest months of the year.

As part of Summer Splash, the Royal Docks are also offering free water safety lessons to more than 400 children aged 7-14, teaching them how to float, recognize hazards, and stay safe in open water.

Summer Splash is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day until the 16 of August, and you can learn more at royaldocks.london/whats-on.
