RA: Impressionists on Paper
The RA will present a new exhibition this winter centring on the fresh techniques and daring viewpoints of 19th century artists.
Impressionists on Paper: Degas to Toulouse-Lautrec will showcase the rise of pastels, watercolour and soft drawings in a time where bold paintings were prominent.
Featuring over 80 works by artists including Cézanne, Monet and Van Gogh, the exhibition will focus on the crucial shift in how these works were viewed.
