Ping Pong Dim Sum Review
If you are looking to celebrate Chinese New Year with some authentic and exciting food with friends then head into Dim Sum Ping Pong to check out their new Year Of The Rabbit themed menu which has just launched.
Hoxton Radio went to try it out at our local situated at Bow Bells House just next to Bank station with starters including padron peppers which helped to spice us up and warm us up with some edamame and prawn crackers & a five spice pineapple cocktail to get going.
We tried the vegan and the regular Chinese New Year menu which was full of tasty surprises served in a bamboo steamer, busting with colour and flavour.
The desert was a cross between a doughnut and dumpling, (black and gold custard bun) char grilled in colour with a very oozy custard – just enough sweetness and just filling enough to have us skipping on our way out the door.
Be sure to say hi to Ben running the restaurant and special mention to the robot waiter / waitress animating service.
Chinese New Year Sunday 22nd January – Year Of The Rabbit (The rabbit is the symbol of longevity, peace, and prosperity in Chinese Culture, thus 2023 is predicted to be a year of hope)
