Pilar Corrias: Against Nature

Escape the January blues and enter Georg Wilson’s pastoral parade with Pilar Corrias’s “Against Nature” exhibition, showcasing the artist’s folk-lore inspired landscapes of the English countryside.

In this new display, Wilson continues to paint the “para-pastoral”, an uncanny version of nature where mystical creatures inhabit a world without humans. The new works also explore the historic uses of uncultivated poisonous plants.

From her studio in East London to Pilar Corrias’s Mayfair gallery, Wilson’s works are known across the capital for their vivid and varied depictions of the seasons.

Against Nature is running from Friday 30th January to Saturday 7th March at Pilar Corrias, 51 Conduit Street. W1S 2YT
