Another Monday, another wander around London’s arts and culture scene!

This week on Hoxton Radio, we’re getting into everything from classic
cinema and live music to exhibitions, fireworks and some brilliant
independent creative spaces.

We’re looking ahead to Alexandra Palace’s spectacular Fireworks &
Drone Festival, exploring a remarkable new collection of Indian
artworks gifted to Tate, and discovering opportunities to experience
silent-era horror with a live score at Finsbury Park Picturehouse.

There’s also new music from Malvoye, who’s bringing a little
old-school soul to his debut headline show at SJQ, and a spotlight on
East London’s wonderfully eclectic independent venue, Folklore Hoxton.

Plus, a little musical nostalgia with Death Cab for Cutie, a band I
grew up listening to with my dad, as we revisit their music and hear a
track from their latest album.

As always, celebrating the artists, venues and creative communities
making London such an exciting place to be.
