NONDEF | CD Sounds: Ade Lee
Some people just make stuff happen. Boldspace senior creative Ade Lee (Adrian for work, Ade for art and this is more the latter) is the man that pulled together the first Art of PR show, featuring talent from our industry together for a legit exhibition at the Coningsby. It’s the sort of thing that people say ‘we should do this…’ in the pub and that’s pretty much the end of it. Not Ade. He’s never done it before but that didn’t stop him. And it didn’t stop him being a voluntary blood biker, setting up a fine tea business and being the tea sommelier at the Groucho.
That’s just scratching the surface. But right now he’s on his photography grind, with dreamy vasaline-smeared lens shots that he’ll show at the show in a few weeks. He’ll give himself a humble backseat position in the gallery because he’s like that. Much like his character, his soundtrack is a quiet storm, kicking off with The Cure, delving into pretty obscure blues-funk that rattled the studio and he wasn’t bashful about Dire Straits. We waiting for the solo.
