OLIVIA COX

Olivia Cox’s latest single “Burn The Boat”, released on 23 October, explores the uncertainty of committing to a relationship and choosing to stop holding back. Written during an all-female songwriting retreat in Jersey with producer Kaja Riedle and composer Eloise Weeks, then finished in London, it marks a move towards live guitars and drums from her earlier electronic pop sound. It follows releases including “Teepee Creek”, “Leave It On The Beach” and “Love Me Like”, the latter exploring the habits we can carry from an unhealthy relationship into a happier one.

Born in Vancouver and raised in Northern Ireland, Olivia’s musical story began with an unusual Christmas request: at 16, she asked her dad for a recording session and recorded three covers in three hours. Since then, her journey has included writing sessions in Berlin, performing at Liverpool’s Cavern Club and writing for other artists. Her attention to small production details comes through on “Paris”, where Camila Cabello and Addison Rae inspired her use of layered backing vocals and ad-libs. Belfast’s Limelight remains a dream venue — one she remembers visiting to see Lewis Capaldi in 2019.

INNA VELIKSAR

Inna Veliksar brings together music, storytelling and an international karate career. Her 2026 single “The Only Way” is accompanied by a video written, directed and edited by her brother Artyom Veliksar, who has also helped bring “Just a Ridiculous Fight” and “Time to Say Goodbye” to the screen. Another release, “Moving to Another Country”, sits alongside a catalogue that includes her album The SunRise, featuring “A Gift Called Life”, “On the Edge” and “The Flight”.

Originally from Moldova, Inna played piano from the age of five before later picking up guitar and writing her own songs. She studied Business and Marketing at the University of Greenwich while developing interests that now span songwriting, production, teaching and authorship. A third-dan Kyokushinkai karate black belt with international competition medals, she grew up with a karate coach for a father. Her writing extends beyond lyrics to poetry and What Do Women Want?, a book she began at university exploring communication and misunderstandings in relationships.
