Michael Barnes with Liv Carrol & Natalie McCool

Liv Carroll is finding her voice through songwriting and production, with Liverpool and her studies at LIPA forming part of that journey. From “Bottle off the Shelf” to her new release “Grieve”, out on 2 October, there’s plenty to explore in the stories behind her songs, how she brings them to life and what she hopes listeners will feel.

Natalie McCool’s journey has taken her from Widnes to a songwriting session with Paul McCartney, winning Yamaha’s Make It Break It competition and helping create a waterfront show for Liverpool’s Eurovision celebrations. A singer, songwriter and self-taught producer, her latest album, Good For The Soul, explores adulthood and self-discovery, bringing together bright pop, darker sounds and collaborators including The Wombats’ Dan Haggis, Trans Voices and She Drew The Gun’s Louisa Roach.
