Meltdown at Southbank Centre

Grace Jones will now be opening and closing Meltdown festival this June with orchestra-backed performances of her classic hits, and she recently announced exciting additions to the festival’s lineup.

Sky Ferreira, Hot Chip, Kasai Allstars and more will be joining the already-confirmed artists, which include Peaches, The Love Unlimited Synth Orchestra and Lee Fields. These latest additions will be contributing a range of genres to the festival, from punk to experimental electronica, in line with Meltdown’s eclectic musical offerings.

Honey Dijon will get you grooving on Friday 10th June with a quintessential blend of house, disco and funk, while Wednesday sees experimental punk from Big Joanie and Sky Ferreira illuminates the stage on the Thursday.

There is truly something for everyone at Meltdown, so whether you want to rock out, rave, boogie or all of the above, you know where to be this June.

Meltdown Festival takes place at the Southbank Centre Friday 10th – Saturday 19th June and tickets are available on their website.
