Lee Miller Tate Britain

Surrealist photographer Lee Miller gets her own retrospective at Tate Britain this October, celebrating her unique art and vision.

The exhibition retraces her entire career, from her beginnings as a model, to the key part she played in avant-garde scenes, as well as her war reporting for Vogue during WW2.

The retrospective follows Miller through her extraordinary 20th century life, from New York to Paris, Cairo and London.

Around 250 prints will be displayed, both vintage and modern, including pieces that were never shown before.

Explore Lee Miller’s work in fashion and war photography, along with her collaborations, such as her shots of Egyptian landscapes taken in the 1930’s.

Lee Miller at Tate Britain is running from Thursday 2nd October to Saturday 14th February 2026.
