In the lead up to International Women’s Day, of course the focus had to be on the ladies of kpop. From newbies to OG’s, we had some bangers.

BoA, the Queen of SM Entertainment with a career spanning some 25 years, opened the show with the iconic ‘Woman’, setting the stage for the hour. We also had tracks from newbies Hearts2Heart and KIII KIII. As well as established artists from Aespa to Itzy.

In the latest news, MEOVV had been announced as global brand ambassadors for L’Oreal Paris. Itzy’s Yeji was called up to represent Roger Vivier, apparently the Faberge of shoes. Bandmate Ning Ning also received an international ambassadorship for Maybelline New York.

New releases in March are expected from BTS’s J-Hope as well as Jennie from Blackpink who releases tracks on the exact same date! This should be an interesting showdown with members from two of the biggest kpop groups.
