K Pop With Sam 04-11-24

Another session of the best Kpop and news was kicked off with Back Door from Stray Kids as we always play a bit of the old and new. Megan Thee Stallion had the remix of her track, Mamushi, featuring TWICE and newly enlistment free Jin was back with new track ‘I’ll be there’. We had new track from The Boyz with ‘Trigger’ with two members celebrating their birthday this week. Red Velvet made an appearance with ‘Bad Boy’ from their 2017 album, ‘Perfect Velvet’.

After the break we were back with OG’s TVXQ with new track ‘Dearest’ and an oldie ‘Mirotic’ from 2008. These guys are heading to their 40’s and still not taking their foot off the peddle. The iconic rapper G Dragon returned with ‘Power’, followed by soloist Jamie with her hypnotic new single ‘Bad Luck’. She has previously featured on ‘Best Friend’ with Doja Cat and Saweetie. We had ‘Hard’ from Shinee.

Reality show formed girl group Kep1er returned with an extended contract and new tune ‘Tipi Tap’. Next up we had Babymonster with ‘Drip. Closing the show with two girl groups on different labels who are besties, ‘Whiplash’ from Aespa and ‘In the Morning’ from Itzy. As the tunes played, I realised I had some time to spare so also squeezed in Armageddon from Aespa.
