Hoxton Live w Nation of Language
Today on Hoxton Live, The Preshaah brings you a splash of Britpop and rock over a rainy Liverpool Street.
We are joined by Brooklyn’s electro synth outfit Nation of Language who concluded their UK tour with a bang on Wednesday evening at XOYO, where new Hoxton News hound Olivia Daly chatted to the band about their latest album A Way Forward.
In Radio News, the latest Rajar stats are out, revealing that 89% of the UK population regularly tune into the wireless – we’re looking to catch the other 11% here at Hoxton.
Meanwhile Which? have revealed that Lidl and Waitrose are top of the list of eco-friendly supermarkets, with M&S proving not so green in 10th place.
Elsewhere Ben Smith from London On The Inside gives us a glimpse into the new Netflix Exhibition at the Design Museum and gave us his top picks of places to visit this weekend, including Hackney Flea Market and Stoke Newington.
We eventually summoned the sun out with tunes from Guns n Roses, Blur, War on Drugs and a Nation of Language favourite, OMD.
Hoxton Live with The Preshaah Friday 10am – 12pm on Hoxton Radio.
