Hoxton Live International Women’s Day
Happy International Women’s Day from Hoxton Radio! This week on Hoxton Live The Preshaah brings you a very special show featuring music from our favourite ladies and special guests from The Andaz Hotel, Goose Island, Brewhouse & Kitchen and Twenty Nine London.
First on, Angelique from Edible East talks about their edible portraits inspired by East London street art. David had the opportunity to attend their most recent event at the Andaz Hotel London and chat to them after where they told us where the inspiration for colors and taste comes for their edible art.
Next on the show we were joined by Francesca Gamble from Twenty Nine London, a brand communications agency and coaching business based in Kings Cross. Their aim is to help small businesses grow in London and break down the corporate barriers so it’s accessible to all freelancers/side owners and hustlers.
Goose Island Shoreditch stopped by to tell us about their International Women’s Day celebrations. Head down tonight (8th March) for a free beer tasting session of their brand new IWD beer. All profits will be going to their chosen two charities – Young Women’s Trust & Wigs For Heroes. Following the beer tasting, they will be launching their ‘Goose Sisterhood Project’ which inspires the education and movement of women in the brewery business.
Last but not least, Brewhouse & Kitchen hype us up for more beer-fused IWD celebrations. They will be leading over 300 women in brewery masterclasses across the country. Their beer will then be sold across the bar 2 weeks later! They offer brewery masterclasses every Friday so head over to their website for more info!
