Hallyu! The Korean Wave at V&A

Soak up all things South Korea this September, as the V&A brings you a celebration of the country’s culture-shaping creativity & innovation.

Highlights include an immersive re-creation of Parasite’s bathroom set, outfits worn by K-pop icons such as PSY & BlackPink, and there’s an array of cosmetic packaging dating back to the 13th century.

The country’s meteoric rise to the technological powerhouse it is today is documented through photography, posters & archive materials, including the world’s first commercial MP3 player & a gigantic 1986 video sculpture which features 33 TV monitors.

Hallyu! The Korean Wave opens Saturday 24th September at the V&A, tickets are £20 and available on their website.
