Riverie
ALL ON MIXCLOUD
Riverie is the musical project of Caroline Fernandez, a Canadian artist based in the UAE whose creative journey has taken her through Canada, the Emirates and Goa. Her debut single, “The Ugly and The Beautiful”, introduces a new chapter following her earlier projects Rivers Below Rivers and Paper Kid. Recording in Goa with LAMB’s Andy Barlow brought her into the studio with one of her own influences, with her forthcoming four-track EP, Faded Empire, offering a deeper introduction to the world of Riverie. First Guest
Rosie Rodriguez
Rosie Rodriguez is a British-Mexican singer-songwriter and violinist bringing together pop, R&B and jazz. Her debut single, “Given In”, introduces a wider story about belonging and finding your community, explored on her forthcoming debut EP, Running Through the Dark. Alongside her own songwriting, Rosie brings experience in musical theatre, with credits including NYMT’s West Side Story and the Lady Macbeth cast recording. She has also busked for YoungMinds and performed for War Child, connecting her love of performance with causes beyond the stage. Listen @ 1 Hour Appx
Katherine Aly
Katherine Aly is a Greece-born, Edinburgh-based alternative pop artist whose songs explore relationships, identity and the behaviour behind romantic promises. Her single “WHITE KNIGHT [for the saviour]” examines control disguised as protection, continuing her sharp-eyed approach to songwriting. Raised with Greek folk and classical music through her singer mother, and once a metalhead herself, Katherine draws on a wide musical background. Her project 222 adds an unusual creative twist: every track lasts exactly two minutes and 22 seconds, turning a coincidence into a songwriting challenge. Listen @ 2 Hour Appx
Melissa Mendoza
Melissa Mendoza is a Cuban artist based in London whose journey through Havana, Spain and London informs a sound combining poetry, electronic production and traditional influences. Describing her approach as “bleeding poetry in beats”, she brings words and rhythm together with a resourceful attitude to making music, using her phone as a recording studio. Her work draws on the experiences of moving between countries and cultures, bringing questions of home, identity and self-expression into her music. Listen @ 3 Hour Appx
