Food + Drink Show w Double Dragon + The Childhood Trust
Today on the Food + Drink show The Preshaah spoke with Scott Hallsworth, owner of new Clerkenwell hot spot Double Dragon and Laurence Guinness from The Childhood Trust about their long-time partnership with Nobu.
Double Dragon restaurant opens tomorrow, on 18th February and it’s playful take on Japanese Food includes wood fired ovens and a seasonal based menu with mouthwatering dishes such as roulette maki and miso grilled aubergine.
Get yourself down to Double Dragon and enjoy some Sake Bomb cocktails to an Indie Rock soundtrack. And bring your graffiti pens to decorate the walls of hallways and bathrooms!
To celebrate the 25th birthday of Nobu’s Park Lane branch, The Childhood Trust are auctioning a money-can’t-buy experience. You can bid for the most romantic dining experience in London: a meal at the same table that Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts dined at in the iconic 1999 film Notting Hill, as well as an overnight stay for two at COMO Metropolitan.
All proceeds go to The Childhood Trust who provide practical and emotional support for the most disadvantaged and vulnerable children of London.
Meanwhile The Preshaah brought you upbeat tunes from Blink 182, The Maccabies and Bjork and spoke with Hoxton News reporter Olivia Daly about Shakespeare’s Globe’s March programme, this year’s Bigfoot Festival and the reopening of Backyard Cinema on 1st April.
Double Dragon opens 18th February in Clerkenwell and Nobu’s Notting Hill Auction is live until 20th February.
