First Thursdays November

Tonight over 170 of East London’s best independent galleries, artist run spaces and studios throw open their doors until late, allowing access to brand new exhibitions.

Offering exclusive openings, private views and one-off workshops, grab a complimentary glass of bubbly or a beer and take advantage of as many free events as you can in one evening.

Grab a drink at the Whitechapel Gallery, for an exclusive show by Herstory, before wandering over to the Brick Lane Gallery, Waterside Contemporary or 71a London for ‘The Art of Ping Pong’.

Plenty of boutique shops and bars take advantage of the late-night revelers as well, so head over to Redchurch Street or Brick Lane and see what you can find.
