East London Waterworks Park

A beautiful new park, home to swimming ponds, a forest school and wildlife could be coming to East London with your help.

East London Waterworks looks to turn an abandoned industrial site in Clapton into a stunning natural oasis that will be carbon neutral fueled by solar panels and hydro-power.

Sitting on the banks of the River Lee and Hackney Marshes – the team plan on creating an oasis for nature and the community to enjoy in tandem.

The Crowdfunder is running now and the project will be funded if at least £500,000 is pledged by 28th October 2022 at 8:18am
