Discover Young Hackney 2026

Young Hackney creatives, get ready to mingle as everything from theatre and dance to music, filmmaking and content creation will take over the borough for Discover Young Hackney 2026.

Some of East London’s most influential creative organisations will host free events for local 15-26-year-olds, including a music video and content creation academy with Rising Tide, Arcola Theatre’s actor training programme, and a songwriting and performance programme with EartH.

The programme will help you network and learn new skills, beginning in 2007 with the goal of tackling the barriers that prevent young people from entering the creative industries.

10th-14th August – Actor Training Programme: ‘Elevate’ with Arcola Theatre
10th-14th August – Songwriting & Performance Programme: ‘Frequency’ with EartH
24th-28th August – Theatre-Making Workshop with MULCH × National Trust
