Dave surprised me this week by inviting some of my oldest friends from back in Cumbria Craig and Louise from Virginia House – a fine dining restaurant and hotel to give us a taste of nostalgic northern life.

The show got off to a great start as Khalia from Baygo came and dropped off some goat curry, jerk chicken, pulled pork bap and a chicken sandwich. You can find in the city serving fine Caribbean food Monday – Friday.

Esme called in to review Michelin star restaurant Lima before co-founder Gabriel Gonzalez joined us live in the studio for a run down of their new casual dining experience.

The question throughout the show was what’s your tipple – red, white or rose celebrating London Wine Week 14th – 20th May with festival director Emma Murphy joining us for a quick toast.
