BOB MARLEY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

Reggae legend Bob Marley would have turned 80 this year, and fans worlwide are coming together to celebrate his legacy all year long.

The birthday celebrations kick off on February 6th with an ‘Uprising’ tribute concert which will be livestreamed straight from Kingston, Jamaica. Contributing to the celebrations, Young Voices and The Bob & Rita Marley Foundation, will stage a worldwide singalong from the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, England.

There will also be a premiere of a new ‘Bob Marley and I’ short series, tune into the first episode featuring Don Letts. The party doesn’t just stop there, there is a special birthday programming on SiriusXM’s Bob Marley Tuff Gong Radio which begins February 6th.

Bob Marley is not only the man who put Reggae on the global map but he remains to this day as one of the 20th century’s most important and influential entertainment icons. These events will be in honour of his music, activism, and lasting impact on global culture.
