Anti-Slam Apocalypse Review

Anti Slam

An empirical march of darth words brought the end of earth at the Hackney Picturehouse  on Wednesday evening.

At the Anti Slam Apocalypse, 8 of the most outrageous slammers babbled, stammered and sang for the antipathy of the audience, while they were judged by an international panel from Sydney, Oxford and London.

The face of “What the hell?!” dominated the night, when squeaky voices fired “poems” that weren’t finished, turned beavers into important daily news or played on the guitadsch mahal.

Poetry as I knew it, has ended yesterday. I even witnessed the triple zero – the most shameful, self hating performance in spotlight! But still, I can proudly announce: It is the most glamorous way to go through the end of the world.

Get the next pain in your funny bone every Valentine’s Day at the Anti-Love Slams or check out other events at the Hackney Picturehouse.
