After Dark at Tate Britain
Being locked in a gallery or museum overnight is a fantasy you must’ve pondered and this August we’re being invited to do just that with the aid of some futuristic assistance.
After Dark at Tate Britain is the winning project of the IK Prize which celebrates the connection and perception of art through digital technologies.
The installation will see four robots wheeling their way though the museum over night moving from piece to piece illuminating the space. Users across the globe will be in charge of where the robots move and what you see, thus queues around your favourite work will be a thing of the past.
Users will also be able to interact with each other in an online forum as After Dark at Tate Britain begins on Wednesday the 13th of August running till Sunday the 17th from 10pm – 3am.
