KpopwithSam ended its series covering labels in South Korea. After the big four, the focus this week was the smaller independent labels competing on the big stage.

We had a show packed with the likes of XG, Taemin and the controversial Kiss of Life.

In the latest news, there was the one week countdown to all members of BTS finally completing their military service as well as a court date for Newjeans and their court battle with Ador logged for 4th June. It was announced that Bang Si-Hyuk, the co founder Hybe (parent company to Ador), was under investigation for insider trading and fraud. In lighter news, Karina of Aespa was announced as the latest brand ambassador for Gentle Monster.
