NONDEF | CD SOUNDS: FEN GREY

By the time you see this, you’ll already know about Fen’s new venture, Hello Tomorrow, which has been all over most of our LinkedIn feeds. When we recorded this on Tuesday, it was still a bit of a secret, launching the next day.

I’ve known Fen for years – as a colleague at Freuds and later as my boss at Porter Novelli. She’s a canny operator, charming clients one minute, scrunching her hair in thought over a knotty brief the next. When she announced she was leaving Porter, you knew big news was coming. But teaming up with an industry legend like Frankie? It’s an exciting next chapter in the story.

But this isn’t all about work. You know the drill: eight songs and a natter. Fen’s list brims with wanderlust: bunking off school, not quitting clubbing, wild swimming in ponds.

There’s a real sense of light and positivity in her choices, which I feel sings to the new business setting sail this week. The Cure, Love Unlimited Orchestra, Binary Finary… I can’t believe that she didn’t play Status Quo given the agency line. Open goal.

Fen’s on Linkedin. Hello Tomorrow, her independent strategic communications and advisory agency (hello Google!).
Ruby on Linkedin.
Most of the CD Sounds shows on a page. At time of publishing it’s about 3 months out of date again. Gah. But if you never know, it may be back to speed when you check…
