K Pop w Sam 07-10-24

This week on kpopwithsam was the usual mix of all things Kculture. Kicking off with the Queens of Kpop, we had CL with ‘Hello Bitches’ and ‘I Am The Best’, from her and her OG bandmates 2NE1. We had the latest track ‘Birthday’ from Ateez followed by Lock/Unlock from JHope who completes his mandatory military service on 17th October. Kepler have finally found a new label in Klap Entertainment and whilst we wait for new material, we spun ‘Shooting Star’ from their time at Wakeone.

Up next was ‘Crazy’ from Le Sserafim then ‘Chk Chk Boom’ from Stray Kids fresh from their performance at the American Music Awards where they played tribute to *NSYNC with a rendition of ‘Bye Bye Bye’. Woosong shared his sultry vocals with his new solo song ‘The Day I Died’ then we dropped a track from his band The Rose with ‘Nauseous’. We got all romantic with Lisa and ‘Moonlit Floor’, her proclamation of love to her new French beau, then my own love Baekhyun, sang his sexy ‘Un Village’, and absolute fave of mine. Whilst we ended the show with two tunes from XG ‘Woke Up’ and ‘Something Ain’t Right’ who have their comeback song on 11th October, we squeezed in Itzy ‘In the Morning’ and the banger that is ‘Walk’ from NCT 127.
