K Pop w Sam 30-09-24

A new show after kpopwithsam’s holiday in Sunny Barcelona kicked off with ‘Villain’ from Key as a throwback, taking us up to his newest release ‘Pleasure Shop’. There was a new release from his labelmate Hyo, with ‘Retro Romance. Kang Daniel returned under a new label with ‘Electric Shock’ from his new EP ‘ACT’.

New tunes from Japanese Kpoppers, Nexz with ‘Keep on Moving’ which is released in both Korean and Japanese. We attempted to play ‘We Go’ from Aespa, but didn’t quite make it, so swapped in our fave ‘Supernova’.

There were new releases from P1Harmony with Sad Song and Hwasa with ‘NA’. We played ‘Perfume’ from NCT DoJaeJung, as a nod to Jaehyun announcing his military enlistment date in November. It was super international Kpop group girl Katseye next, who were formed on a Netflix reality show with their debut song, imaginatively called ‘Debut’.

We squeezed in another favourite from Aespa, with Armageddon and girl group Itzy who make their comeback next month, with ‘In the Morning’ and ‘Loco’. Then we ended with NCT 127 Walk and my other fave ‘Maestro’ by Seventeen.
