HACKNEY EMPIRE PANTOMIME DICK WHITTINGTON AND HIS CAT
An all-star cast and creative team has been announced for this year’s Panto at the Hackney Empire which celebrates 25 years of epic Xmas entertainment.
Olivier award winner Clive Rowe will direct and star in Dick Whittington and his Cat, alongside Will Brenton (BAFTA winner) while Kat B return’s as script writer and ‘Thomas the Cat’ respectively.
This Christmas tradition has delighted audiences since 1988 – when the venue was transformed from bingo hall back to working theatre – and audiences this year are promised their favourite panto ingredients through a classic rags to riches tale.
Dick Whittington and His Cat at the Hackney Empire is running from Saturday 23 November to Sunday 5 January.
