The Theatre Show with Alissa Finn x GISELLE: REMIX x Silence
The Theatre Show with Alissa Finn featured and Jack Sears, co creator of GISELLE: REMIX and actors from Tara Theatre’s touring production of Silence.
Jack Sears spoke of GISELLE: REMIX an evening of cabaret, drag divinity, dance, and lip-syncs retelling the timeless story of Giselle in collaboration with dancers from The Royal Ballet. GISELLE: REMIX will be playing at the Pleasance Theatre from 10th-27th of April, this is a dazzling production you will not want to miss!
Alexandra D’Sa and Aaron Gill actors from Tara Theatre’s touring production of Silence spoke about the rehearsal process and meaning behind Silence. Silence is a play based off Kavita Puri’s acclaimed book, Partition Voices: Untold British Stories telling of the 1947 partition of India into East Pakistan and West Pakistan and the personal testimonies of people who lived through the last days of the British Raj. The production is on tour from the 6th of April to the 4th of May, playing at the Queens Theatre Hornchurch, Curve Leicester, Birmingham Rep, and HOME, Manchester.
