Between The Lines at The Big House Theatre
Between The Lines is a new theatre production from Hackney-born grime artist, Jammz and writer, James Meteyard about the fictional pirate radio station Blaze FM; as it fights to survive amidst sabotage and politcal subterfuge.
Set in the mid-2000s in Hackney on a rundown down council flat, the Shutdown Crew aim to keep the station alive as rivals DTI and the authorities threaten the station’s existence.
The play explores freedom of expression and the power of one of Britain’s most celebrated subcultures, Pirate Radio.
Between The Lines shows at The Big House Theatre, Islington from 3rd May – 1st June 2024
